With only 10 days to go before the launch of Nintendo’s brand new console, the Japanese gaming giant has released the first official unboxing video.

The creators of Mario and Zelda are due to release the Nintendo Switch on March 3, bringing their love for innovation and experimentation to the fore.

The console is but the size of an iPad that can be both connected to your TV and played on the go, an evolution of the Wii U if you will.

On the official Nintendo YouTube channel, the adorable hosts of Nintendo Minute Kit and Krysta excitedly opened up a Nintendo Switch box and dug through the goodies inside.

What you get inside

  • Nintendo Switch
  • Dock
  • Joy-Con (2 halves)
  • Joy-Con grip
  • HDMI Cable
  • Adapter
  • Instructions/literature
  • Joy-Con wrist straps

The excitement of the giggly pair was evident and their unboxing work was thorough, even taking time to assess the smell of the console in its plastic sleeve.
